About The Position

Camunda is seeking a Manager, Talent Operations to lead the infrastructure for hiring at scale. This is a people management, systems strategy, and AI automation leadership role. The successful candidate will own the Talent Operations function, lead a team of four, and partner directly with the VP of Talent Acquisition to build the future of hiring at Camunda. This role is focused on building and transforming the hiring process, not just optimizing existing systems.

Requirements

  • Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda's product.
  • Experience leading an operations team in a tech-forward environment.
  • Proven track record with AI tools or automation in a People or TA function.
  • Systems thinking at the architecture level, designing for scale.
  • ATS fluency (Ashby preferred).
  • Comfort with data, metrics, and using them to surface insights.
  • A coaching-oriented management style.
  • Remote-first operating experience.

Responsibilities

  • AI and automation strategy for Talent Operations, including roadmap development, pilot programs, and outcome assessment.
  • Leading and developing a team of four, with defined growth paths.
  • Managing the Ashby ATS ecosystem, including configuration, integrations, and technology decisions.
  • Partnering on data architecture and reporting to inform leadership decisions.
  • Designing recruiting operations that are scalable and self-sustaining.
  • Providing strategic partnership to the VP of TA, offering a strong point of view.
