About The Position

AAA Club Alliance is hiring for a Manager, Talent Management to join our team! The Manager is responsible for supporting organization-wide efforts focused on a broad range of talent management programs and initiatives to strengthen talent and maximize the success of our business. This position will also support our Diversity & Inclusion strategies, Associate Engagement, as well as maintaining effective programs for promotion and succession planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5-8+ years’ experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development or related HR field; 1-3 years’ leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong customer orientation focus; highly responsive to internal clients.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
  • Ability to recognize potential risks, problems or trends and suggest innovative, viable solutions.
  • Ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Excellent consultative and coaching skills to work effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative, even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.
  • Comfortable working in a high volume, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment.
  • Broad knowledge covering multiple Human Resources functions.
  • Ability to work in a holistic manner and deliver integrated solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support Talent Management programs to include Talent Development, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Associate Engagement, and Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Assume responsibility for the full delivery of the Talent programs, including resource scheduling, project tracking, risk analysis, and reporting.
  • Proactively communicate status and timeline updates to internal and external customers.
  • Partner closely with HR managers and subject matter experts to drive the delivery and consumption of Talent programs across the business.
  • Participate in management development programs and/or succession planning meetings.
  • Facilitate training for people managers to reinforce the importance of employee development.
  • Conduct employee engagement research; partner with people managers to identify and execute action plans based upon Associate Engagement survey results.
  • Produce and distribute (or collaborate in the production of) internal communications, including utilization of e-newsletters, email-blasts, The Clubhouse, etc. for the purpose of communicating Associate-related information to Associates such as Diversity & Inclusion messages and Talent Development information.
  • Coordinate Diversity & Inclusion events.
  • Lead or serve on AAA Club Alliance committees requiring HR representation, particularly those with a Talent Management element.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology and the HRIS team concerning the automation of Talent Management programs, processes, and reporting.
  • Coordinate talent assessment and feedback programs/processes.
  • Incorporate regular feedback and analytic processes to ensure the Talent Management programs continue to meet the needs of Associates, managers, and leaders and to improve the overall satisfaction, performance, and experience of the programs.
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a business partner with Talent Acquisition to support effective recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Set and monitor the process for leaders to complete periodic Associate talent conversations.
  • Provide ongoing expertise, observations, and feedback on "what's working, what's not" as it relates to talent development and leadership capability to lead performance framework.
  • Identify and install metrics that most closely align to evaluating the effectiveness of an upgraded talent development framework. Partner with leaders to ensure their responsibilities related to talent development are achieved.
