About The Position

This is a temporary, fixed-term contract role for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join ERM's North America Recruiting Flexforce Team in Houston, TX (remote). The role involves shaping hiring strategies, partnering with technical leaders, and recruiting top-tier environmental and sustainability talent for a global sustainability leader. The position is central to a global environmental and sustainability powerhouse with over 60 offices in the U.S. The role is energized by partnering with technical leaders, influencing hiring strategies, and elevating the candidate experience. ERM's work shapes a more sustainable future for clients across various industries, and this role is instrumental in finding the exceptional consultants needed to deliver that impact. By managing project-based hiring across the U.S. and Canada, the role ensures ERM has the talent to support critical projects, meet client commitments, and advance global growth strategy.

Requirements

  • 5 years of high-volume recruiting experience within staffing or corporate environments, successfully managing diverse U.S.-based searches.
  • 2 years of experience in people or process management.
  • Proven success delivering specialist and niche hiring in technical or consulting fields.
  • Strong knowledge of modern recruiting practices, market trends, and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean search expertise and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience leveraging social media and networking tools to build engaged candidate pools.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal clients and provide consultative insights throughout the search process.
  • Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms (e.g., Workday, GEM) and KPI reporting, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization, time management, communication skills, and professional judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage shifting priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting for project-term roles across U.S. and Canadian offices, ensuring alignment with ERM’s culture and business goals.
  • Source, attract, and engage top consulting talent across key technical service areas and client markets using diverse sourcing channels.
  • Deliver a high-touch recruiting experience from application to offer, including screening, reference checks, salary recommendations, and closing candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and implement tailored, effective hiring strategies.
  • Apply advanced sourcing techniques to build proactive talent pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Coordinate effectively with recruiting colleagues and share talent across teams where potential fit exists.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, ensuring preparedness and timely updates throughout the interview process.
  • Represent ERM as a brand ambassador in all interactions.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and leverage ERM’s eRecruitment/ATS systems for reporting and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and employment legislation across all recruiting activities.
