About The Position

The Manager, Supply Planning [Frozen Foods], leads the development and execution of replenishment strategies by leveraging data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory levels and operational efficiency. This role requires strategic decision-making informed by customer behavior, market trends, and financial insights to drive supply chain performance. The manager partners with merchandising, finance, and operations teams to address supply challenges, improve supplier performance, and ensure seamless product availability. A focus on continuous improvement, digital tools, and effective communication supports the achievement of business objectives and enhances overall supply planning effectiveness. The Supply Planning team plays a critical role in ensuring timely product delivery by balancing inventory productivity, in-stock performance, and supply flow. Collaborating with Merchandising, Logistics, and Operations, the team proactively manages risks, optimizes forecasts, and adapts to demand changes. Utilizing data analysis, strategic decision-making, and financial management, members drive efficient replenishment processes and address supply chain challenges. The team continuously improves operational efficiency to support Walmart’s commitment to delivering value and a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in supply chain management and replenishment planning to optimize inventory and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and leverage digital tools for business performance evaluation.
• Experience in financial management, including profit and loss analysis and developing business cases to support strategic decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate insights to drive supply chain and merchandising improvements.
• Strategic decision-making skills informed by industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor analysis.
• Proficiency in identifying root causes of supply issues and implementing corrective actions to enhance supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze merchandise sales data and industry trends to inform supply planning decisions.
• Develop replenishment plans in collaboration with Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain partners.
• Identify root causes of inventory supply issues and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate resolution of supply failures to maintain inventory flow.
• Leverage data analytics tools to generate insights supporting strategic decision-making and financial management.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities and optimize network capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and reduce waste.
