With a 150-year heritage in delivering industry-leading sleep solutions, we own iconic brands including Serta®, Beautyrest®, Simmons® and Tuft & Needle®.  How You'll Do It: Long lead-time management - establish and maintain strong relationships withsuppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.   Translate accurate Demand forecasts into actionable ordering plans to ensure timelyavailability of products. Ensure that ordering strategies account for seasonalfluctuations and changes in Demand patterns.   Inventory Management- maintain optimal inventory levels using a min/max approachto balance supply and demand.   Identify risks of stockouts or excess stock, and implement corrective actions as necessary.   Develop and track metrics for inventory turnover and availability to ensure product availability without overstocking   Supplier progress monitoring through overseeing the suppliers production process andensure timelines are met.   Work closely with suppliers to resolve them, and implement change to the plan as needed to maintain delivery schedules.    Collaboration with Demand team and cross-functional partners by working with the Demand team to assess sales trends and identify necessary adjustments to forecasts.   Coordinate inventory transfers between plants to optimize inventory levels and support manufacturing schedules.   Port of Entry and Logistics Management by managing and coordinating shipmentsthrough various ports of entry and ensure smooth transits between different origindestinations.   Address any logistical challenges related to timing, customs clearance,and shipping delays to minimize disruption in the supply chain.   Reporting and Analysis through regular reporting and analysis through trackinginventory orders and supplier performance data and deliver to different stakeholders.   Provide clear insights and recommendations based on data to help drive decisions atvarious levels within the organization.   Cost and cash-flow management by understanding and applying working knowledge ofinventory holding costs, cashflow implications and financial impacts of inventorydecisions.    Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements related to ordering,inventory, and supplier management to enhance operational efficiency. Propose andimplement strategies to mitigate risk of delays while ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Logistics, or relatedfield
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operations
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
  • Strong practical skills using statistical modeling
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excel expert level
