This is an opportunity to lead end-to-end supply chain performance across strategic sourcing, operational sourcing, and order fulfillment while helping ensure reliable execution for customers who depend on precision, compliance, and accountability. In this role, you will guide a mixed team of Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Sourcing Specialists, and Fulfillment Leaders, bringing strategic intent and day-to-day execution together so the value stream operates with clarity, ownership, and strong delivery performance. You will play a visible role in strengthening delivery, productivity, cost performance, regulatory compliance, and customer commitments across the supply chain. The position also offers the opportunity to develop people, build problem-solving capability, and support suppliers working within contractual, quality, export-control, cybersecurity, and government oversight requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience across order fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, planning, or project management.
Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams with both strategic and operational responsibilities.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier performance management, order fulfillment, and order-to-cash execution.
Experience driving productivity improvements, efficiency gains, and continuous improvement through structured problem-solving approaches.
Ability to communicate effectively across functions and manage stakeholders with clarity, accountability, and follow-through.
Leadership with ownership, structure, and sound judgment in a matrix organization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support business priorities.
Accountability for outcomes while staying focused on delivery performance and the customer experience.
Ability to assess delivery risks and initiate corrective actions when required.
Experience supporting military, defense, or U.S. Government aerospace programs and suppliers producing source-controlled tooling, special tooling, ground support equipment, test equipment, or related hardware.
Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FAR, and DFARS requirements as they relate to supplier selection, purchase-order flow-downs, technical data, export-controlled information, and sub-tier management.
Practical experience working with DCMA, prime contractors, OEMs, or government customer representatives on supplier surveillance, source inspection, corrective actions, delivery recovery, audits, or program reviews.
Understanding of defense and aerospace quality requirements, including AS9100, AS9102, configuration management, traceability, calibration, counterfeit-part prevention, nonconformance control, and special-process approval.
Understanding of CUI handling and supplier cybersecurity obligations, including NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements when contractually applicable.
Ability to interpret and manage military technical data packages, controlled drawings, specifications, revisions, source-control requirements, deviations, waivers, and engineering-change approvals.
Ability to translate customer and contract requirements into supplier-level controls, measurable recovery plans, and documented compliance evidence.
Maintain eligibility to access export-controlled information and customer or government systems, subject to applicable law, authorization, and company policy.
Must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting aircraft engine, airframe, MRO, GSE, or maintenance-tooling programs for the U.S. Department of Defense, a prime contractor, or a military aerospace OEM.
Exposure to DPAS-rated orders, government source inspection, DCMA Corrective Action Requests, supplier approval, domestic sourcing requirements, and defense-industry record retention.
Professional certification such as APICS/ASCM, CPSM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end supply chain performance for the assigned product value stream, including delivery performance, cost effectiveness, supply stability, and productivity.
Provide functional and people leadership to Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Sourcing Specialists, and Order Fulfillment Leaders, with a focus on operational excellence, coaching, capability building, and team development.
Move the team from a transaction-driven purchasing approach toward stronger supply chain ownership, flow, stability, and customer impact.
Align strategic sourcing, operational sourcing, and order fulfillment priorities to support consistent value-stream performance and global supply chain strategy.
Lead delivery performance through prioritization, risk identification, escalation management, and corrective-action coordination.
Drive root-cause problem solving using lean principles such as PDCA, 5-Why, and A3 to reduce recurring issues and improve operational stability.
Manage team capacity and focus by prioritizing supply chain goals, stopping low-value activity, and protecting resources for stabilization, improvement, and strategic work.
Drive material productivity and commercial performance within the value stream, including ePPV and bid-versus-procured improvements through strong negotiation execution.
Use forecasting, turnover tracking, and KPI reporting to identify actions, strengthen accountability, and improve performance.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Customer Teams, and Delivery Leaders to close interface gaps and support stable end-to-end execution.
Support day-to-day operational activities when workload, complexity, escalation, or short-term capacity constraints require additional leadership involvement.
Identify efficiency, system, and automation improvement opportunities and translate them into clear requirements for global supply chain initiatives.
Own supply chain execution for assigned military and defense programs, including source-controlled items, special tooling, ground support equipment, test equipment, and program-specific deliverables.
Ensure supplier compliance with applicable ITAR, EAR, FAR, and DFARS requirements, including proper flow-down to sub-tier suppliers.
Coordinate with Contracts, Trade Compliance, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Security to protect export-controlled data, CUI, access controls, and required records.
Support DCMA and customer oversight activities, including production readiness, supplier surveillance, government source inspection, corrective actions, delivery recovery, and evidence of contractual compliance.
Ensure suppliers execute required quality standards, including AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection, configuration control, traceability, calibration control, counterfeit-part prevention, and approved special-process requirements.
Manage military technical data packages, controlled drawings, specifications, revisions, deviations, waivers, and engineering changes so suppliers build to the latest authorized configuration.
Route nonconformances and supplier MRB activity through required customer, OEM, engineering, quality, or government approval processes before disposition decisions are implemented.
Assess and mitigate defense supply chain risks, including sole-source dependency, long-lead material, obsolescence, capacity constraints, sub-tier visibility, geopolitical exposure, cybersecurity, and continuity of supply.
Lead documented supplier recovery plans for critical military commitments, with clear milestones, ownership, escalation, and communication of delivery, contractual, or customer impact.
Verify application of priority ratings and government-program requirements, including DPAS, domestic sourcing, cybersecurity, record-retention, and marking requirements when included in contract or purchase-order flow-downs.
Contribute to cross-functional and strategic initiatives as required.
