Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Supply Chain Manager 2 – 1st Shift (9/80 Schedule) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite at our IUKA Center of Excellence in IUKA, MS. The Manager Supply Chain 2 is responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Responsible for Supply Chain Material Chemical processes, including inventory management, material procurement. Participates in various aspects of supply chain process areas: Supply Chain-Plan, Supply Chain-Source, Supply Chain-Make, Supply Chain-Deliver as well as Supply Chain-Operations. Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency and manages one or more Supply Chain functions (Planning, Sourcing, Small Business/Disadvantaged Programs, Supplier Quality, Warehouse & Transportation, Analytics, Compliance, Systems, etc.).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
Must have basic knowledge of Material Requirements Planning or Enterprise Resource planning and/or equivalent Planning experience
Current active U.S. Government Secret level clearance to apply/start
Ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.
Working Knowledge of SAP

Responsibilities

Lead a team of salaried, exempt employees who are responsible for the tracking, receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, shipping, preservation and issue of parts supporting various production programs to include chemical management and issue .
As the Global Supply Chain focal point, develop and execute the strategy for Global Supply Chain Goods Movement and Logistics operations to support the program, affordability targets, schedule performance, and first time quality.
Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman Values.
Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Aeronautics Sector programs.
Directs team activities associated with program transportation, storage, and material handling requirements, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability.
