As part of the Global Logistics and Trade Compliance (GLTC) team, this US-based role acts as the operational lead for US and Canadian export regulatory compliance. With Celestica’s HPS and ATS divisions expanding into advanced AI servers and military/dual-use design, this position is vital for ensuring strict adherence to both the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This specialist will drive the management of U.S. Department of Commerce controls and safeguard secure collaboration across all global design teams. The role involves enforcing strict compliance with the EAR for high-performance GPUs and AI nodes, managing export restrictions, and monitoring/interpreting complex export regulations related to emerging AI server architectures. It also includes implementing and administering Technology Control Plans (TCPs), managing collaborative tools, leveraging SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), overseeing secure transfer of controlled technical information, managing applications for export permits, serving as a member of Export Compliance Councils, and delivering Trade Compliance and Controlled Goods training.
