About The Position

Trove Brands is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Finance to own the analytics behind inventory and working capital, which are critical levers on the company's margin. This role involves building reporting and analytics from the ground up in Snowflake and Omni, with direct reporting to the VP of FP&A. The position is ideal for someone with several years of experience in supply chain or operations finance at a larger company who is looking for increased scope and impact. The company anticipates this role will grow into a leadership position, building and managing a team.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in supply chain finance, operations finance, inventory analytics, or FP&A.
  • Experience in a larger company environment with readiness to work without extensive scaffolding.
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills, with the ability to connect operational metrics to P&L outcomes.
  • Comfortable working with data, including SQL proficiency or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate workload effectively, pushing back when necessary.
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Acumatica, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • CPG, e-commerce, or manufacturing background.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses and BI development (Snowflake, Omni, Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in import, freight, or logistics analytics, including landed cost, forwarder performance, freight invoice audit, and TMS data.
  • Exposure to S&OP or IBP, 3PL/warehouse operations, or retailer compliance and chargebacks.

Responsibilities

  • Own inventory position and control metrics, including inbound and in-transit through on-hand, across SKU, location, and channel. This includes turns, weeks-of-supply, aging, excess & obsolete, adjustment rates, and count accuracy, translated into dollars and GM%.
  • Analyze inbound and import data, including freight data from a container management system and RateLinx feed, to build landed cost, freight spend, forwarder allocation, invoice validation, and transit-time performance analytics.
  • Manage 3PL and distribution performance, including owning the scorecard and MBR program, cost-per-order, on-time/in-full, shipping accuracy, and the storage-vs-fulfillment split, tied back to cost-to-serve.
  • Analyze and address chargebacks and deductions by sizing exposure, identifying root causes, and recommending fixes with the highest financial impact.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and automation in Snowflake and Omni for leadership reporting, warehouse and 3PL team scorecards, and to eliminate manual data pulls for scalability.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis (approximately one-third of the time) to size the impact and find the cause of identified problems, collaborating with Inventory Control, Imports, Distribution, and HQ.
  • Provide inventory inputs to the annual plan, forecast, and close, including variance analysis, GL reconciliation, and E&O reserve support.
  • Identify and validate margin opportunities across product cost, freight, tariffs, and fulfillment, and track committed vs. actual savings.
  • Analyze fully-loaded margin by SKU and provide recommendations for product lifecycle management.
  • Act as the finance voice in the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, connecting the demand and supply plan to margin and cash.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for buy, hold, and markdown timing, considering working-capital and GM% tradeoffs.
  • Build validation reporting to identify item setup and master data errors before they impact customer orders.
