The Substance Use Health Program Manager leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Mental Health and Addictions Treatment (MHAT) Hub, including 24/7 residential treatment, mobile, and drop-in services for people who use substances. This role oversees program operations, supervises the Substance Use Health Team, and ensures client centered, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care for individuals facing complex challenges related to substance use, homelessness, and mental health. As a key member of the Operational Management Team, the manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a high-functioning, inter-professional team and uphold service quality. If a Registered Nurse, the manager may serve as the Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC). The role also ensures compliance with provincial standards and aligns services with HUCCHC’s mission and strategic priorities to meet the needs of the diverse community it serves.
