As a Strategy & Execution Manager within EY-Parthenon, you will play a key role in facilitating these decisions. As an EY-Parthenon Manager within our Strategy and Execution practice, you will participate as a valued member of project teams, assisting clients in addressing their most pressing strategic challenges. Together with your team, you will play a vital role in supporting and executing strategies for transactions and developing expertise across various engagement types, including pre-deal (e.g., due diligence, operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking, value creation), touching upon key functional areas across a variety of industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supporting projects involving IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cost and value, operating models and the optimization of technology processes and services across diverse industries.
  • Big 4 experience in diligence / integration / divestiture space is required
  • A proven record of excellence in a merger integration, acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs.
  • A demonstrable track record as a trusted IT Advisor to large (Fortune 500 and comparable)
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience working in complex business environments.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
  • Experience in developing deep, collaborative relationships with colleagues in multiple practice areas, in a professional services environment.
  • This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.
  • Ability to travel to the U.S for work on short notice.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure in mergers and acquisitions, and divestiture or willingness to learn about these areas
  • Experience supporting integrations, carve-outs and other types of transaction engagements
  • Functional experience in Human Resource Management and/or Change Management
  • Project management experience
  • Relevant degrees and certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, PMP)

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage client engagement teams executing IT due diligence and transaction services which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.
  • Perform IT due diligence, stand-alone costing, one-time cost development, operating model design.
  • Manage integration planning and execution (Integration Management Office).
  • Manage carve-out or divestiture planning and execution (Carve-out Management Office).
  • Manage synergy identification, validation and realization.
  • Develop Transitional Services Agreements.
  • Develop M&A and integration playbooks.
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including project management, problem-solving, and facilitation.
  • Assist in identifying key IT risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
  • Develop effective client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and deliverables.
  • Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations and attending pursuit meetings with clients to grow the practice.
  • Assist in leading internal practice initiatives to help continually improve the IT M&A practice and be responsible for fostering an open and inclusive work environment.
