Baptist Health is hiring a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to join the Coastal Community Health team. This is a full-time opportunity located on the downtown Jacksonville campus of Baptist Health. Requirements

  • Over 5 years Supply Chain Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Materials Management Experience Required

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Registered Nurse preferred
  • Certified Professional Supply Management (CPSM) Preferred
  • Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) Preferred
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the senior lead for all strategic sourcing activities, with the ability of achieving cost reductions, with year over year savings and operational improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining and improving product quality and supplier service levels.
  • Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the system to drive system wide performance improvements, cost reductions, improved or enhanced service levels and quality excellence with the knowledge transfer for replication of best practices.
  • Coordinates with value analysis teams to ensure all processes are standardized and adhered to.
  • Ensures that all agreements are properly loaded within the systems and products, or services are properly implemented operationally.
  • Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, legal, executive leaders, and supplier executives.
  • Education and training of new team members, assigning tasks, offering support and guidance.
  • Provides input for team member hiring and evaluations.
  • Creates a supportive team environment.
