About The Position

Imagine360 is seeking a Stop Loss Strategy Manager to join our team! The Stop Loss Strategy Manager will be a hybrid role supporting a market segment of existing strategic relationships with stop loss carriers, brokers, and other partners, as well as identifying and engaging with new client and broker relationships that will directly impact revenue growth and expand Imagine360's footprint and capabilities within Risk Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience working in a sales, sales support, or stop loss role.
  • Proven success in managing external relationships that directly impact the growth of a product or service.
  • State General Lines Agent license.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with team members and influence work product and outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and business case analysis skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize amongst multiple priorities.
  • Exemplary communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Demonstrated competency in learning computer-based tools.
  • Ability to explain complex proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial, with creative thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the stop loss insurance industry or for a third-party administrator where experience was gained on the understanding of stop loss sales, account management, actuarial and underwriting operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales process by securing stop loss options for Imagine360 prospects.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory developments. Serve as a stop loss subject matter expert for the larger enterprise.
  • Educate new and existing clients in the stop loss community about Imagine360's solutions and value propositions.
  • Establish and track data used to understand the effectiveness of stop loss solutions, using the data to influence and solidify new business and/or renewals.
  • Facilitate the solicitation, evaluation, and selection of stop loss insurance for existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with sales and underwriters of stop loss carriers, MGUs and our internal Sales and Marketing organization. Leverage these relationships to help prospects and existing clients secure stop loss insurance.
  • Establish metrics to track activity and document sales and account retention activity.
  • Record ongoing activity into SalesForce daily including all prospect related activity and any discussion and/or correspondence with brokers, stop loss carriers, vendors, or any other external individuals.
  • Support the sales and renewal process by securing stop loss options for Imagine360 prospect and existing clients.
  • Work closely with sales representatives, account managers, and brokers to develop satisfactory solutions using contracts and agreements that support the needs of our clients by maximizing benefits and minimizing costs both externally and internally.
  • Advise and coordinate with administrative team responsible for facilitating stop loss quoting process.
  • Engage directly with clients and brokers to facilitate solution education/marketing, create awareness for our stop loss related capabilities, and consult on plan designs and considerations for stop loss coverage.
  • Ensure new business and renewals are properly implemented and work with internal stakeholders to ensure all documents are provided timely including disclosures, reports, applications, hold harmless paperwork, agreements, and other necessary information.
  • Ongoing communication with key internal stakeholders on stop loss efforts.
  • With a focus on continuous improvement and optimization, maintain processes and guidelines for soliciting and evaluating quotes from stop loss carriers and MGUs with consideration given to new solutions & features.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape.
  • Other duties as assigned.
