Requirements

B.S. Degree or Associates Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related field.
Prior experience in leadership, timekeeping, payroll, or operational improvements.
Demonstrated experience in customer service.
History of forming positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to communicate effectively.

Nice To Haves

Masters Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
Two (2) years' experience in Healthcare.

Responsibilities

Manage and improve day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
Ensure timely processing of surgical instruments.
Monitor department productivity and operational budgets.
Manage sterile supplies, including breast implants and tissue.
Round on supported departments.
Oversee education initiatives.
Lead quality improvement initiatives.
Manage staff scheduling.
Assess and approve requests for new instrument sets in collaboration with the Coordinator to economize operations while satisfying clinical leadership and medical staff.
Responsible for systems planning, space planning, and implementation planning as it relates to the Sterile Processing Department.
