Clark Schaefer Hackett is seeking an experienced Tax Controversy Manager or Senior Manager to join one of Midwest’s most respected tax practices. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and colleagues while helping manage a variety of federal, state, and local tax controversy matters, including IRS and State Tax Examinations, Administrative appeals and dispute resolution, Tax notices and information requests, Penalty abatement and collection matters, Tax research and controversy strategy, Client advocacy and representation before taxing authorities, Consultation with partners and engagement teams on complex tax matters, Development of client relationships and business opportunities within the practice.
  • Depending on experience and level, this individual may also play a significant role in mentoring staff, developing processes, and helping drive the continued growth of the firm's tax controversy capabilities.
