The University of Miami/UHealth department of Neurology has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Manager, Sponsored Programs to work remotely. The Manager, Sponsored Programs (A) oversees administrative and financial aspects of the Sponsored Programs division. The incumbent operates with the objective of increasing sponsored funding levels and the output of funding proposals, as well as maximizing the use and efficacy of existing research funding dollars. Additionally, the Manager, Sponsored Programs (A) develops and implements policies and methods that are most effective to that end. The incumbent will work with the Research Support Team in the Department of Neurology, providing pre and post award support for federal, state, private, foundation, and industry funded studies. The Manager, Research Support, works independently and is responsible for research related matters, including but not limited to, review of funding opportunities, submission application, grant budgeting, personnel effort allocation and monitoring, subaward process, service and consulting agreements, expenditure review, reporting, and grant closeout.
