About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Operations to be part of our growing Pharmacy Services across our Enterprise. This role will oversee specialized pharmacy services including specialty medication management, infusion services, medication access, and other complex pharmacy operations. The manager will lead teams, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, optimize workflows, monitor financial and operational performance, and support high-quality patient care. Collaboration with pharmacy leadership, specialty clinics, providers, and external partners is key to improving access to complex therapies and supporting safe, efficient, patient-centered specialty pharmacy operations. Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is a leading not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network based in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin. With 11 hospitals and over 100 clinics, we serve 67 cities across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field required within 6 years of hire
  • Registration as pharmacy technician within the state of primary pharmacy work location
  • Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPhT or ExCPT), based on state of primary work location
  • Minimum 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in pharmacy operations, with a focus on special operations such as specialty pharmacy, infusion services, complex medication management, medication access, or related pharmacy service lines
