About The Position

As an Engineering Manager at ServiceTitan, you will lead one to two squads, driving execution, technical excellence, and team growth. You will foster a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment with business goals while empowering your team to excel. This role involves defining and executing quarterly plans, driving agile ceremonies, and providing clear priorities for day-to-day execution. You will also provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding architecture, design, and development best practices, and participating in code reviews. The goal is to deliver on-time, secure, reliable features that address customer needs. You will collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership, engineering, product, and UX teams, articulating team contributions to broader company initiatives and maintaining open communication about the team's progress and risks. Ownership and accountability are key, setting goals, empowering the team, and driving a culture of continuous learning, celebrating successes and learning from failures.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in modern frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, SQL, Azure, DevOps).
  • Proven ability to lead agile teams, deliver results, and drive execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of cross-functional teamwork.
  • Passion for talent development and fostering a high-performance engineering culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with observability tools (Grafana, DataDog) and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing telephony products is a huge plus.
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
