About The Position

The Manager, Software Engineering leads and develops a team of software engineers and is accountable for delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable SaaS applications. The role balances people leadership, delivery ownership, and technical oversight to support execution aligned with product and business goals. The manager sets expectations, supports career growth, removes delivery obstacles, and helps the team apply modern development practices to improve quality, delivery cycle times, and reliability. Decisions affecting enterprise policy, shared platforms, security controls, organizational structure, or multiple teams require alignment with the appropriate senior engineering leader. The role is intended for an experienced engineering leader who develops people, guides technical execution, and achieves outcomes through strong teams rather than individual contribution. The manager is also responsible for implementing approved AI practices and tools within established engineering, security, and data-protection standards, and for measuring their effects on delivery speed and quality while preserving human accountability.
