About The Position

The Manager, Software Engineering will lead project management and the development team for Yubico’s YaaS Platform and Yubico Fulfillment Center (YFC). The role is responsible for delivering implementation of these services to support Yubico’s global fulfillment services and translating business requirements into technical use cases and engineering requirements.

The position is based at 5201 Great America Parkway, Suite #122, Santa Clara, California. The stated schedule is 40 hours per week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer science or a similar related field.
• At least 36 months of experience leading enterprise software application development.
• Proven experience building and supporting commercial server software on one of the three major cloud platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud services.
• Proven experience working with Kubernetes and GitHub Actions.
• Working experience designing and developing microservices on Unix-based platforms.
• Proficiency with one or more common backend languages, such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), C#, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Drive project management of the YaaS Platform and YFC products.
• Provide people management for the development team.
• Deliver implementation of the Yubikey as a Service Platform and Yubico Fulfillment Center to support Yubico’s global fulfillment services.
• Convert business requirements into technical use cases and engineering requirements for building YaaS and YFC services.
