From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day. This role will manage and monitor the implementation of Aircraft Move Teams across the Hubs, as well as continuously develop and monitor training compliance for the program. Serves as the primary manager on duty for Move Team Operations and oversight of operational planning and execution. Provide consistent, ongoing strategic operational planning and communication to include planning and execution during Irregular operations, weather events and emergency situations. Primary liaison with Tech Ops, Flight Ops, CSC and SOC regarding Move Team operations. Provide consistent, ongoing strategic operational planning and communication to include planning and execution during Irregular operations, weather events and emergency situations. Primary liaison with Tech Ops, Flight Ops, CSC and SOC regarding Move Team operations. Support the station safety culture through strategic communication. Develop recovery plans to transition from IRROPS to normal operations. Identify strategic and innovative solutions to common problems with sustainability. Responsible for end of day reports, collateral duties and projects beyond the scope of daily job responsibilities. Provide leadership and development to Direct Reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or education equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience of airport operations experience
  • Basic experience in aircraft movement or previous ramp experience
  • Experience in leading a large group of employees
  • Strong leadership skills and capability to lead large cross-functional teams
  • Extensive knowledge of Airport Hub Operations
  • Proven track record for decisive action backed by strategic planning, continuous improvement, analytical thinking, goal-directed leadership and service-oriented performance
  • Ability to consistently lead and manage both controlled and uncontrolled operational environments while considering Safe, Caring, Dependable and Efficient decisions
  • Strong communicator and engagement practices
  • Ability to develop and produce data-driven reports for continuous improvement
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
