About The Position

The manager of Blue Nile showroom will be responsible for all aspects of managing a showroom location including but not limited to; recruiting/hiring staff, coaching & development of team members, maintaining store appearance, inventory control, budgeting, scheduling, payroll and security. This position reports directly to Regional Sales Director. The manager will also work closely with regional marketing directors to implement brand standards and strategies at each store location.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years retail management experience required
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office)
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent retail experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned stores
  • Maintain store appearance, ensure staff is dressed in accordance with brand standards
  • Ensure that all merchandise is displayed according to corporate standards
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills by effectively motivating and developing staff
  • Conducts performance reviews, addresses complaints and disciplines as necessary
  • Assists in planning and executing visual/marketing directives
  • Manages all aspects of inventory control, shrink prevention efforts and loss prevention efforts
  • Analyzes sales trends and adjusts product assortment, pricing and promotions accordingly
  • Responds to customer requests and resolves customer issues
  • Coordinates special events and participates in community activities
  • Ensures that store complies with all company policies and procedures
