Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and three (3) years experience required, one (1) of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
- Direct related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
- Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and staff management required.
- Strong written communication and professional report-writing skills required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, required.
- Must be available for on-call response outside of normal business hours, including emergencies and operational needs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with fleet management and vehicle operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of senior officers, security guards, safety officer and drivers.
- Management of center security which includes safety, fire protection, security, and transportation in compliance with government and management directives.
- Regularly assess and audit department for contractual compliance and quality of services to students, prepare audit and assessment reports.
- Regularly inspect facility, maintain quality standards.
- Provide fire protection.
- Conduct frequent fire drills and inspections of the facility.
- Coordinate with other center staff concerning security matters and conduct security related investigations.
- Ensure proper staff scheduling, vehicle dispatching and system evaluation to meet center requirements.
- Maintain accurate records to support vehicle usage, mileage, gas consumption, etc.
- Ensure the provision of proper safety equipment and accident reporting information.
