Guide a successful team of technical sales specialists while supporting strategic growth and market share for Thermo Fisher Scientific's innovative product portfolios. In this role, you'll develop and execute sales strategies, provide technical leadership, and cultivate strong customer relationships across academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical markets. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, implement commercial strategies, and ensure customer success. Your expertise will be valuable in supporting and developing talent, managing sales pipelines, and delivering consistent revenue growth while maintaining Thermo Fisher's position as a leader in serving science.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's plus 8 years of progressive sales experience in life sciences, biotech, or relevant scientific industries
  • Strong technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
  • Consistent record of meeting sales targets and supporting business growth
  • Excellence in strategic planning, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Advanced skills in CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.com
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience working effectively in collaborative organizations
  • Business acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to support and develop talent
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining customer relationships at all levels
  • Available for up to 50% travel within assigned territory
  • Fluency in English required

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering or related scientific field
  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience is preferred
  • Experience with capital equipment sales preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
