About The Position

EY Technology Consulting is a fast-moving and high-growth area within EY. We are currently looking for a Manager – SAP FICO/RTR to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. We are looking for an individual who combines experience leading SAP projects with an aptitude for driving sales pursuits and for helping grow our business. Requirements

  • Skilled in “team leadership” – adhering to the project methodology and PMO processes/procedures, planning the data team’s work, leading local and offshore resources, reporting status, logging and escalating risks/issues/decisions, participating in program governance, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with SAP Finance
  • Effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise domain knowledge with technology skills.
  • Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • A bachelor's or Master’s degree and 7-10 years of related work experience at minimum;
  • A degree in computer science, accounting, finance or a related field (MBA or Business Undergraduate degree preferred).
  • At minimum 5 – 7 years of experience working with SAP Finance modules (GL, CO, AR, AP, AA experience preferred), as well as participation in multiple full life cycle SAP implementations required.
  • Experience with implementing and advanced knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Cost Center Accounting
  • Experience with implementing SAP Finance and integrations to SD, PM, MM, and HR integrations to SuccessFactors
  • Experience with leading business blueprint, gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP enabled solutions
  • Team lead expertise – stream planning, status reporting, managing governance, managing the team against the plan, escalating risks/issues/decisions/changes, budget management, etc.
  • Experience with all aspects of financial accounting and cost controlling within an ERP system.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP certification/s in Finance is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations with Group Reporting is an asset
  • Experience with SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience implementing SAP Finance in Power & Utilities and/or Mining is highly preferred
  • Prior consulting experience and a demonstrated history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market.
  • Effectively lead the team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Participate in large scale SAP client engagements.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Manage expectations of client service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team members with complex schedules against a published plan.
  • Develop project documentation including business process flows, test scenarios and scripts, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience.
