Requirements

  • Proven success in leading multi-tiered leadership development programs in a global or complex organization.
  • Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills.
  • Proven track record to establish relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with learning technologies, LMS platforms, and instructional design tools.
  • Cultural competence and ability to work optimally across geographies.
  • Bachelor's degree required in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of proven experience in learning and development.

  • Experience working with or within a federated, affiliate-based, or chapter-based nonprofit preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a system-wide learning and leadership development strategy aligned with organizational goals and chapter needs.
  • Lead end-to-end management, delivery, and evaluation of flagship leadership programs including Executive Leadership Program, Advancing Leadership Program, OL Preparatory Institute, OL Onboarding, and Chapter Exchange Program.
  • Lead program calendars, communications, and logistics to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
  • Incorporate adult learning best practices, inclusive learning design, and digital learning tools to improve engagement and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with internal team members (Mission Partnership, Philanthropy, Finance, etc.) to co-create and maintain up-to-date learning content, toolkits, and training platform.
  • Serve as a liaison to agency partners, consultants, and vendors to deliver program components, ensuring consistency with program goals and standards.
  • Maintain and evolve the organization’s Leadership Competency Framework, integrating it into all relevant learning touchpoints and talent development strategies.
  • Lead all aspects of the portfolio of general leadership development courses, identifying gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure content reflects organizational values and competencies.
  • Curate and develop asynchronous learning options to increase access globally.
  • Lead all aspects of learning management system and technologies to ensure seamless delivery of curriculum to users.
  • Develop KPIs and evaluation metrics for learning programs.
  • Regularly analyze learner feedback, participation data, and performance outcomes to refine programs.
  • Lead Learning & Development team members in coordinating and delegating their work in support of the team’s goals.
