$145,000 - $175,000Onsite

About The Position

1X is building humanoid robots designed to work in homes, handling chores and tasks to give people their time back. This requires solving robotics, AI, and manufacturing simultaneously at scale, with a focus on safety for family environments. The company has been developing these robots since 2014 and is now transitioning from solving hard problems to the hard work of scaling and shipping their flagship product, NEO. NEO is a home robot designed to move, learn, and operate alongside people in the real world. The company is looking for individuals inspired by this mission who want to see their work reach the world and genuinely change how humans spend their time by creating abundance safely. The Maintenance & Repair Operations team is crucial for ensuring robotic systems operate reliably as the company scales from prototype development to higher-volume deployment. This team bridges engineering, manufacturing, quality, and field operations, creating feedback loops for product improvement and playing a direct role in enhancing robot reliability, operational readiness, and scalability throughout the system lifecycle.
