Manager, Retail Technology Platforms
About The Position
The Manager, Retail Technology Platforms owns the strategy, administration, optimization, and business performance of Crew Carwash’s customer-facing retail technology platforms including POS, payments, promotions, subscriptions, and pricebook systems. This role will lead Crew’s POS modernization effort, including the evaluation and migration off a legacy point of sale to a next-generation platform, and serve as the primary bridge between IT, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and vendor partners to deliver fast, scalable, secure, and customer-friendly technology across all locations. This role is on-site 5 days/week at our support center in Indianapolis/Fishers.
Requirements
- Experience owning or administering POS or retail/hospitality transaction systems.
- Working knowledge of SQL and underlying database structure.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Vendor management experience, including platform evaluations and migrations.
- Strong understanding of pricing and promotions logic.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-minded, with a track record of using metrics to drive improvement.
- Demonstrated operational urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Responsibilities

- Lead the POS modernization effort, including evaluation and migration from a legacy system to a next-generation platform.
- Serve as the primary bridge between IT, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and vendor partners.
- Deliver fast, scalable, secure, and customer-friendly technology across all locations.
- Ensure POS platform uptime and reliability.
- Maintain promotion and pricing accuracy across all locations.
- Facilitate speed to market for new campaigns and pricing changes.
- Reduce transaction friction and improve issue resolution speed.
- Deliver the POS migration roadmap on time and on budget.
- Ensure data feed accuracy and field/store satisfaction.
