Requirements
- Must possess a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- License Requirements: Must be licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Maryland and maintain all necessary continuing education credits and requirements.
- Previous retail pharmacy experience for a minimum of two years including one year of management is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
Responsibilities
- The role of the Outpatient Pharmacy Manager is to oversee the success and performance of the Retail and Specialty pharmacies within Mercy Health Services in compliance with federal, state, and professional mandates, as well as hospital and department policies and procedures.
- The population served by the pharmacist consists of inpatients and outpatients, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
