Title: Account Services Manager- BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Hybrid : This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Build the Possibilities. Make an Extraordinary Impact. The Account Services Manager is responsible for providing customer service representation and strategic planning for assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly prefer a minimum of 2 years related experience in specialty pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with assigned sales representative(s) to achieve sales or retention goals.
  • Works to ensure administration of contractual requirements and obligations.
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, and in-services.
  • Maintains ongoing account relationships at multiple levels throughout the customers' organizations.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customers' expectations.
  • Communicates with physicians as to the outcome(s) of patient benefit investigations.
  • Supports specialty pharmacy in the delivery of medications by procuring missing documentation, communicating information to physician offices, and related activities.
  • Provides both on-site and off-site customer service.
  • Researches and resolves phone and written inquiries.
  • Coordinates open enrollment meetings, renewal process and training sessions.
  • Documents and ensures that brand drug specific program steps are adhered to.
  • Triages prescriptions to in-network pharmacy as necessary.
  • Follows up with health plans and/or physician offices to communicate status and obtain prior authorizations.
  • Maintains customer relationship management (i.e., CRM) and electronic medical records (i.e., EMR).
