About The Position

Sanford Research is seeking a Manager of Research Operations to play a pivotal role in supporting and helping researchers advancing basic, translational, and clinical research across our organization. This leader is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the administrative and logistical infrastructure that enables investigators and scientific staff to focus on discovery, innovation, and improving patient outcomes. Embedded within Sanford Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit integrated health systems, Sanford Research offers a unique opportunity to help translate research into clinical impact—accelerating the path from bench to bedside and into the communities we serve. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in a science or related field and five years of scientific and or administrative experience or a Master's degree with three years of scientific and/or administrative experience.
• Current valid Category II driver’s license, and meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of centralized programs, workflows and processes required for success of investigators and scientific staff
• Supervision of support staff
• Liaison with corporate service departments
• Assist research leadership with budgeting and resource allocation and strategic planning efforts
