About The Position
The Manager, Replenishment and Inventory Solutions leads inventory planning and supply chain execution to optimize product availability and flow. This role drives sales and inventory performance through strategic collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment with business goals and promotional timing. The position emphasizes data-driven root cause analysis to resolve supply disruptions and improve inventory health. The D95 Beverage Merch Execution team manages Walmart’s largest department, essential to delivering the right products to customers efficiently. This team collaborates closely with suppliers and cross-functional partners to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand and timing. The Replenishment and Inventory Solutions Manager plays a key role in maintaining trust and consistent engagement with consumers by overseeing inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain execution. The team focuses on optimizing inventory flow, addressing supply challenges, and supporting promotional activities to enhance overall performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in inventory management, replenishment, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong skills in inventory planning, forecasting, and data analysis to optimize stock levels.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies.
- Ability to lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve inventory health.
- Demonstrated success in managing product flow, promotional inventory, and seasonal planning.
- Effective team leadership with a focus on development, performance management, and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in using inventory systems and driving process improvements to meet business goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, data analytics, business, or related area and 2 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, data analytics, or related area.
- 5 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, data analytics, or related area.

Responsibilities
- Drive sales and inventory performance through precise supply planning and vendor collaboration.
- Align forecasts and inventory flows to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal demands.
- Manage purchase orders, allocation decisions, and inventory adjustments to optimize availability.
- Lead root cause analysis and execute recovery plans to resolve out-of-stock and supply disruptions.
- Oversee inventory health by reducing understock, overstock, and aging inventory metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to position inventory strategically at the lowest cost.
- Provide leadership by mentoring, training, and developing team members to meet performance standards.
