About The Position

This position is responsible for managing reliability staff and projects in support of bio-pharmaceutical and aseptic filling operations. The role involves representing and reporting reliability program metrics to executive management, mentoring and developing staff according to best practices and company policy, and administering performance reviews and meetings. The Manager will oversee day-to-day reliability activities, ensure staff activities are supervised consistent with tactical plans, and train and mentor technical and supervisory staff on best practices. Additionally, the role requires reviewing department output for customer service and compliance, providing in-depth technical review of documents and reports, and traveling between facilities to support all functional areas. The position also involves interfacing with and directing outside contractors, overseeing equipment installation, and exhibiting professional behavior that reflects positively on the company.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience required
  • 3 years leadership/supervisory experience
  • Well-developed hands-on experience with Process Mechanical Systems including facilities and utility equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Understanding of plant and equipment reliability preferred
  • 4 years cGMP experience preferred.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical systems and processes

Responsibilities
