The position involves developing and executing regulatory plans for complex projects, including new initiatives and the maintenance of licenses and reaccreditation for existing and new business opportunities. The role also includes managing contracts, tracking performance to contractual requirements, providing consultation to other departments on requirements, and escalating gaps as necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of public health policy, regulatory, or legal experience, preferably in managed care or pharmacy industry.
Duals experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop procedures and reports to monitor contractually required deliverables, including regulatory reports and performance metrics.
Review complex laws and regulations and provide guidance to other departments to ensure processes are in compliance.
Conduct HIPAA compliance audits and provide summaries of outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
Perform gap analysis to current contract requirements and policies/procedures and offer recommendations to close gaps.
Monitor applicable regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with company and external standards.
Communicate with regulators as needed to seek clarification on contract requirements, regulations, processes, or documents submitted for approval.
