About The Position

Candidates must live in Michigan within 50 miles of a Trinity Hospital and will be expected to go onsite to Trinity Hospitals as needed but will be remote otherwise. Purpose In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors a Supply Chain Leader actively: guides, trains, mentors and monitors Supply Chain colleagues while contributing to the development and execution of Departmental, Ministry and System Office based strategic plans. Provides operations &/or optimization leadership focus; May provide leadership & direction through managers; Balances between staff leadership, broader organizational direction & administration; Accountable for the performance, regulatory readiness & results of a single large, strategic area in a medium to large-sized single functional domain within a limited geography.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six (6) to seven (7) years progressively responsible experience with 4-5 years in Value Analysis or closely related discipline.
  • Verifiable 2-3 years of leadership experience in a progressive work environment with complex, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adapt to frequent interruptions, shifting priorities & stressful situations.
  • Attend to tasks until complete, understand & relate to complex ideas & concepts & be able to remember multiple tasks & regimens extending over long periods of time & work on concurrent tasks / projects.
  • Read small print, frequent ability to hear normal sounds & voice patterns, able to give / receive instructions & other verbal communications in-person & over the phone / computer / device / equipment assigned with some background noise.
  • Perform frequent manual dexterity activities & occasional grasping/handling.
  • Continuous attention to maintain a safe working environment & use of available personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with Trinity Health’s policies & procedures.
