About The Position

As a core part of Jet Aviation’s talent strategy, the Jet Aviation Academy will strengthen the consistency, visibility, and quality of learning across the organization. Working with business functions and subject-matter experts, the Academy will ensure that training reflects business priorities, operational realities, and regulatory requirements. Jet Aviation is seeking a Manager, Regional Training to lead Academy delivery across EMEA, the US, and APAC. You will help establish an important capability from the ground up by connecting existing training expertise and making learning easier to access, deliver, measure, and improve. In this role, you will translate business and regulatory needs into a focused regional training program while connecting global standards with regional requirements. This position is ideal for an experienced learning and development professional who combines great leadership with practical execution and is comfortable working across functions, cultures, and locations.

Requirements

Proven experience leading through matrix structures, dotted-line relationships, internal trainer networks, and external vendors.
Strong expertise in adult learning, instructional design, facilitation, and training evaluation.
Experience developing and managing multi-site or regional training plans and calendars.
Fluency with learning technology, training data, budgets, and vendor management.
Experience maintaining training records, qualification data, and evidence in support of compliance and audit readiness.
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, project-management, and stakeholder-partnership skills, with an elevated emotional professionalism.
The ability to influence without formal authority and build alignment across functions, cultures, and locations.
Strong business judgment, with the ability to balance global standards, regional requirements, operational realities, and available resources.
Fluency in English and applicable regional language(s).
A willingness to travel within the region and occasionally globally.

Responsibilities

Build and manage the annual training plan and calendar in partnership with business leaders, HR, Training Program Owners, and regional leadership. Identify opportunities for shared cohorts, reusable learning assets, common vendors, and more efficient delivery models.
Co-design learning solutions with subject-matter experts who own the curriculum and learning objectives. Apply adult-learning and instructional-design principles, and ensure consistent delivery quality across employees, internal trainers, dotted-line resources, and external vendors.
Maintain sufficient qualified trainer capacity, monitor certification currency, and ensure that required training records and supporting evidence are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Manage the local team. Build an engaged and connected community of trainers (direct, dotted line or external reporting) through shared standards, development opportunities, and regular collaboration.
Consolidate regional training activity, budgets, attendance, qualifications, and costs into a reliable view. Coordinate the regional vendor panel in partnership with Supply Chain Management and maintain accurate information in the learning platform.
Ensure right use of the learning platform, contribute to improvements in learning technology and data standards, and use training data to evaluate effectiveness or opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate regional leadership modules delivery and support high-impact leadership workshops as required.
Act as the face of the Academy in your region, encouraging adoption through trust, clarity, and influence rather than formal authority.
