About The Position

The Manager, Regional Training is responsible for managing and executing training programs across their assigned region(s) to ensure consistent onboarding, strong user adoption, operational compliance and high-quality service delivery. The Regional Training Manager identifies training needs, improves onboarding effectiveness, monitors system usage, and provides data-driven insights to leadership to support performance and efficiency. The individual in this role partners closely with Regional Leadership, Operations, and the Corporate Enterprise Training team to translate enterprise initiatives into effective, regionally relevant training solutions.

Requirements

  • Property and Casualty Insurance License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
  • Four-year degree in Business, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in training, education, or management within the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated experience acting in a mentor capacity and/or successfully leading a large project team.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of training processes and techniques, with a proven track record of improving performance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures.
  • Ability to create engaging training materials and deliver effective training sessions.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word).
  • Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Ability to travel as required by business need.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the execution of regional training programs aligned with enterprise standards and regional workflows.
  • Oversees the design, development, and continuous improvement of regional training programs in partnership with the Corporate Enterprise Training team, ensuring consistency, scalability, and relevance to regional workflows.
  • Partners with the Corporate Enterprise Systems Training team to adapt and deploy enterprise-developed training materials and initiatives at the regional level.
  • Ensures onboarding training programs are delivered consistently, efficiently and with high quality across the region(s).
  • Establishes and manages a structured cadence of ongoing training initiatives, including product updates, regulatory changes, technology enhancements, and client experience standards.
  • Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness and ROI, leveraging data and feedback to identify skill gaps and implement targeted remediation.
  • Partners with Regional Leadership and Operations to assess training impact and drive continuous improvement across service teams.
  • May directly manage regional trainers or provide functional leadership, coaching, and guidance to training resources.
  • Monitors training effectiveness through surveys, audits, performance metrics, and feedback.
  • Conducts regular system and quality control reviews to identify errors, adoption challenges, and training gaps.
  • Manages regional training initiatives, timelines, and priorities while championing a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
  • Leads or participates in cross functional projects and enterprise initiatives as assigned, representing regional training interests and contributing to organizational goals.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the regional service team.
  • Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service training process to ensure a best-in-class client service experience.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned.
