We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Regional Manager to join our growing telecommunications company that is redefining the data network industry. This position is located in Pasco Washington. This is a full-time, exempt salary position, not eligible for overtime and paid bi-weekly. The Regional Manager supervises the OSP and Field Operations hourly employees. The Regional Manager is responsible for the management of all field resources. The Regional Manager is the first management level of trouble and outage escalation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field operations management, preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a geographically dispersed team.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and processes.
  • Experience in managing budgets and P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry and technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the health and safety of personnel in assigned region.
  • Supervision of all Field Operations Personnel in assigned region.
  • Supervision of all Outside Plant Personnel in assigned region.
  • Oversee infrastructure growth, rearrangements, and plant maintenance activities in assigned region.
  • Ensuring preparedness for Service Order and Provisioning execution in assigned region.
  • Support and assist with Outside Plant and Operations Engineering projects.
  • Review and support Service Delivery Projects involving infrastructure growth.
  • Provide progress tracking and reporting for plant growth projects.
  • Manage the on-call rotation for assigned area.
  • The Field Supervisor is a critical resource and contact for outage and impairment escalation.
  • Manage Request Tracker Log entries for assigned area.
  • Manage the Outside Plant Maintenance Log for assigned area.
  • Provide scheduling support for order and project activities in assigned area.
  • Approve Time and Expense Reports for direct reports.
  • Review and approve Purchase Order Requests submitted by direct reports.
  • Hire personnel as needs arise for additional manpower resources.
  • May include aerial line work.
  • All other duties as assigned by direct manager.
