About The Position

This remote role oversees Americold's facilities across Arkansas. Candidates must reside in Arkansas and be willing to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, site visits, and business-related activities throughout the region. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, supporting market intelligence and M&A activities, and ensuring alignment with district budgets and revenue growth objectives. Travel may be required for business purposes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of distribution sales experience including at least 3 years in field sales management with increasing responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing or equivalent training in Business or Sales Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes within distribution, warehousing, logistics, or transportation industries.
  • Demonstrated financial analysis skills relevant to distribution and logistics.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain new business relationships.

  • Track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales goals, performance standards, and reporting functions for all accounts.
  • Monitor and maximize EBITDA for assigned sites by managing commercial performance and ensuring deals are accretive and at market rate.
  • Collaborate with District Operation Directors to establish district budgets and achieve financial targets.
  • Initiate and execute proactive lead management and funnel processes to support targeted sales and customer acquisition.
  • Provide market intelligence and support for M&A activities including competitive analysis and customer insights.
  • Manage contract negotiations, maintenance, and documentation to ensure compliance and alignment with invoicing.
  • Maintain customer relationships by leading issue escalation, conducting business reviews, and supporting retention and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
