Direct the operational, financial and personnel activities of the Department of Radiology at Presbyterian Hospital. How you grow, learn and thrive matters here.

Requirements

• Associates Degree required.
• Associates Degree/Diploma in Radiology.
• New Mexico State License in Radiologic Technology (NMRRT) required.

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years experience in Radiology Supervision, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Maintains JCAHO guidelines and ACR guidelines.
• Oversees daily activities of the radiology staff to optimize productivity and census manages when appropriate.
• Ensures the delivery of quality service in area of operations.
• Acts as an educational resource and is available for consultation to medical, nursing and administrative staff.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in education programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
• Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as required or directed.
• Establishes and maintains communications within the department and with other hospital departments.
• Develops relationships with professional affiliations and others as is appropriate.
