About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW: This job functions as administrative liaison between staff, patients, physicians, families, other hospital departments, and outside agencies.

Requirements

• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 2 years medical/surgical nursing experience
• 5 years critical care nursing experience
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Nice To Haves

• Certified Radiology Nurse
• Radiology experience
• Management experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the patient flow process while ensuring quality patient care in a cost effective manner.
• Assists in human resource activities such as interviews, evaluations, disciplines.
• Directs patient care activities including quality/performance initiatives and proper staff assignments.
• Performs the job duties of the staff RN.
• Establishes, monitors and adheres to annual operating budget.
• Maintains consistent readiness and ensures department compliance for regulatory agencies.
