As a Manager, Quality Control at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred, with significant experience in quality control or quality assurance.
  • Proven experience managing quality control operations, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve quality objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality assurance and compliance workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Manage the quality control operations, including the testing and inspection of products to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of quality control staff to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, regulatory, and research teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor quality control metrics and prepare reports to assess quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal policies in all quality control activities.
