We’re making a difference in our friends’ and families’ lives and would like you to join our team. The Manager Quality and Risk is responsible for administering the Risk Management program. This role acts as the facility liaison/contact with attorneys on all legal matters and provides guidance and direction on risk management and legal issues to facility leadership and departments. The manager also oversees the Physician Quality program and works with departments to identify and reduce risk to the facility, its employees, and patients. This includes implementing process optimization solutions to identify improvement opportunities, define and map processes, and provide guidance in the use of process management and optimization tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five years experience
  • Three years experience in Healthcare environment
  • Proven success leading a team using development tools, resources, training, goals, and performance measures
  • Ability to gather data, interpret information, and explain fluctuating elements and risks in investments using established principles and practices
  • Technical skills including problem–solving, process improvement orientation, financial analysis, project and program management in complex corporate environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare technology and/or hospital provider industry
  • Extensive knowledge of business management in regulated industries
  • Experience with mapping techniques, basic data mining techniques and technical tools associated with enterprise class applications

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Deep experience with process improvement methodologies, Project Management (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities
