Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of quality or manufacturing experience; Master's Degree with 6 years of quality or manufacturing experience.
3 or more years of experience leading personnel in a quality or manufacturing team environment.
Experience leading and/or managing union employees.
Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience.
Experience working with Government agencies.
Experience with Quality Management System (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) certification process.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
US Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

Experienced with dispositioning hardware for quality related issues in a manufacturing facility.
Experienced with Material Review Board (MRB) process.
Experienced with electrical or mechanical design requirements and specifications.
Experienced in Quality and Mission Excellence applications.
Green/Black Belt Certified in Lean Six-sigma.
Experienced in Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis methods and techniques.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Minitab, Tableau, or equivalent tools for statistical analysis.
Experienced with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques.
Experienced with Quality Notifications, Production Orders and Purchase Orders.
Experienced working knowledge of inspection tools, methods and techniques used for hardware reviews, validation, and inspections.
Working experience of SAP, ISE, and CADSTAR.
Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 Quality Management System and AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI).

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
