About The Position

As a Purchasing Manager, you’ll be part of our Procurement Team for STANLEY Engineered Fastening team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to support the execution of category strategy within their region. You will be a critical thinker that can analyze the current situation, develop a plan to improve, and execute the plan while be able to communicate the plan to obtain internal adoption. You will identify and onboard new suppliers that are in alignment with the category strategy and drive world class cost and margin enhancement (TCO Improvement) to deliver 5% YOY productivity. You will lead and manage supplier relationships as the local representative for global affiliates and support the Lead Category Manager (LCM) on project management and executing category and regional strategies. Experience building category cost models/clean sheets, and monitoring raw material, FX, and market trends is also part of this role.

Requirements

At least a Bachelors Degree
At least 5-7 years of experience
Automotive experience
Strong influencing and change management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities
Experience working with a global and diverse team in North America
Strong Excel background with experience in ERP systems such as JDE LX
