About The Position

Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. We have an opportunity for a Manager, Project Management to join our team. In this role, you will manage and mentor direct reports while overseeing projects across multiple business lines or sites. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication. This position involves leading meetings, managing project plans, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years in a client-facing project management or scientific environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers, peers, and managers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Prior experience leading and motivating a diverse workforce preferred.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and train direct reports.
  • Oversee projects that may span multiple business lines or sites as assigned.
  • Act as the single point of contact for clients and address customer questions and observations.
  • Prepare and manage project plans to meet required milestones.
  • Lead meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure project completion.
  • Deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Notify finance of milestone completions for billing purposes.
  • Serve as the primary client communication focal point for the project team.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
