About The Position

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager for the Power Panel portfolio of programs. The Program Manager will be responsible for the schedule, budget and scope compliance of a $10M+ annual execution budget with coordination responsibility for four DOD customers. Program manager will be the point of customer contact for reporting status, maintaining scope control and negotiation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Relevant required experience in program management, to include increasing management responsibility with 6 years in a supervisory role and with DoD Program(s)
  • Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline
  • Experience with cost, schedule and performance as it relates to program execution
  • Program and Personnel Management, Financial Management, Risk Management Policies and Assessment
  • Program Management experience running a large support services contract with multiple subcontractors

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred by not required

  • Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems. Problems span a wide range of difficult and unique issues across the function and/or business area.
  • Manages a team with focus on policy and strategy implementation.
  • Establishes operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function.
  • Provides measurable input of new products, processes or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall functional results.
  • Typically does not have budget or Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability but may manage certain processes or projects within a defined budget set by management.
