Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as life sciences, healthcare, pharmacy, nursing, public health, or a related discipline requiring engagement with professional stakeholders across healthcare ecosystem.
  • Relevant experience in professional affairs, medical affairs, healthcare professional engagement or a related healthcare environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret external insights from thought leaders and external landscape and translate into recommendations and programs that advance scientific understanding and education.
  • Excellent leadership and partnering skills with history of building trusted, long-term relationships with diverse external stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, legal/compliance, marketing, commercial, R&D and external partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly with healthcare professionals and influence Marketing and R&D leadership.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, while ensuring seamless experience for external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, MPH, MS, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in OTC, consumer health, or self‑care therapeutic categories.
  • Experience developing or executing healthcare professional education, advisory boards, congress plans, speaker programs or professional society engagement.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance principles and requirements related to HCP engagement and scientific/professional communications.
  • Ability to synthesize marketplace, scientific and professional insights into strategic recommendations that influence portfolio and business decisions.
  • High learning agility, sound judgment and ability to operate with appropriate discretion in sensitive or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute focused professional engagement plans for OTC portfolio, aligned to business priorities, scientific strategy and applicable healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, professional societies and external experts to understand clinical needs, practice trends and establish influential network of partners, advocates across healthcare professional ecosystem.
  • Identify areas of alignment with priority healthcare professional stakeholders and societies and drive strategic co-creation and collaboration to strengthen scientific credibility and nurture advocacy.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with KOLs, professional associations, and scientific influencers to support evidence-based self-care.
  • In partnership with Medical Affairs, plan and deliver expert panels, advisory boards and sponsored professional education initiatives to advance healthcare professional education and elevate scientific thought leadership of our brands.
  • Support creation of professional‑facing content and engagement materials in partnership with Medical Affairs.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date professional ecosystem maps identifying key KOLs, digital influencers, and relevant organizations.
  • Track professional trends, society priorities, clinical developments, and competitive insights to inform strategic planning.
  • Mine and translate clinical practice insights and healthcare professional stakeholder feedback into actionable recommendations for professional education, claims support, product strategy and portfolio priorities.
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs, Brand Teams, R&D, Communications, and Regulatory to align activities.
  • Manage operational components including congress planning, sponsorship execution, grants, and partnerships in compliance with policy.
  • Oversee vendors and support budget tracking for assigned programs.
  • Ensure professional affairs activities are planned and executed in accordance with Kenvue standards, healthcare compliance requirements and applicable industry guidelines.
  • Track program effectiveness, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and communicate insights, risks and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners.
