About Central Fill Pharmacy: The Central Fill Pharmacy team operates at the heart of automation and efficiency, processing prescriptions for multiple retail locations. Our purpose is to enable retail pharmacies to focus on patient care by handling backend operations. As a Production System Manager you will play a pivotal role in optimizing processes and ensuring the seamless operation of our pharmacy services. Work Shift: 2nd, open availability needed 7 days a week

Requirements

  • Proven experience in production management and scheduling.
  • Strong analytical skills to review productivity and performance data.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
  • Ability to establish and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Experience in budget management and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as engineering, business, operations management, or logistics).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a production or operations environment, preferably in a distribution center, pharmacy automation, or a similar high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • 4 years of experience in an automation, manufacturing, warehousing, or pharmacy facility.
  • To complete a Board-approved program or Pharmacy Technician University program.
  • Must become a registered pharmacy technician in state of practice within one year of job entry.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software, with the ability to use technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule daily production to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Interact with Production Support teams and Team Leaders to optimize flow and throughput.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures and ensure team training.
  • Monitor and analyze productivity reports and key performance indicators.
  • Provide direction, support, and coaching to Team Leaders.
