Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in production planning, supply planning, or manufacturing planning.
- Multi-site manufacturing planning leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of S&OP, capacity planning, and master scheduling.
- SAP and advanced analytics experience.
Nice To Haves
- APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Life Sciences or Chemicals manufacturing experience.
- SAP PP and supply chain planning module experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead production planning activities across three Rochester manufacturing sites.
- Manage and develop a team of production planners.
- Establish standardized planning processes, tools, and metrics across all sites.
- Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans.
- Lead monthly supply reviews and support the S&OP process.
- Develop short-, mid-, and long-term capacity plans.
- Identify production constraints and coordinate mitigation plans.
- Oversee production schedules that optimize throughput and service levels.
- Monitor schedule adherence and drive corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor KPIs including schedule attainment, service levels, capacity utilization, planning accuracy, inventory health, and backorders.
- Lead continuous improvement and ERP/planning system enhancements.
